BIOS 342 - Principles of Physiology I

Function of animal cells and organs, emphasizing the physical and chemical principles underlying physiological processes. Focus on chemical messengers, metabolic processes, membrane properties of excitable and nonexcitable cells, and muscle function. 3 lec.
Prerequisites: CHEM 153 & C- OR BETTER BIOS 171 & (PHYS 202 OR 252 OR CONCUR)

Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
