ANTH 357 - Anthropology of Religion


Anthropological consideration of ritual and myth in various cultures; shamanism trance, taboo, etc., in social systemic, symbolic, structuralist, and ecological perspectives. Comparison of different anthropological frameworks for understanding religious phenomena.
Prerequisites: ANTH 101
