Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Programs

Program Overview: The Master of Engineering Management (MEM) is a degree which builds upon a student’s existing Bachelors of Science degree and experience to produce an effective engineering manager. Engineering Management combines technical aspects of engineering and with management skills. The MEM builds on the technical education of students by including mathematics-based courses such as statistics, six sigma and information systems. This degree will provide students with a combination of foundation courses in statistics, information systems and quality, not typically provided in most engineering and science disciplines. Building on that foundation, advanced courses in project management and database systems will help produce graduates capable of managing technical development projects. This program is a good match for engineers and scientists who find they are directing teams of other engineers and scientists.
