Educational Research and Evaluation M.Ed.

Program Overview: The Educational Research and Evaluation Program offers a Master of Education degree (M.Ed.). This degree is intended to prepare graduate students for more advanced study of educational research methods and for roles in research organizations. It is a professional degree as well for those students not seeking to pursue the Ph.D. in Educational Research and Evaluation, but seeking to acquire more knowledge related to assessment, measurement, and qualitative and/or quantitative research. The major allows students maximum variability in the curriculum to develop a program that meets their individual needs and interests. The program of study should be developed in consultation with the student’s advisor and filed with the College before the completion of 15 semester credit hours.

Admissions Policy: A bachelor’s degree is required for admission to this program. GRE scores are required, with a minimum combined score of 1000 recommended. Official transcripts, three written letters of recommendation, and an autobiography and statement of personal goals are all required. International applicants must provide proof of financial responsibility and proof of English proficiency (e.g., TOEFL scores).
