Program Overview

The coaching education minor will provide all students interested in athletic coaching (e.g., youth, interscholastic or intercollegiate) with the opportunity to gain applied experiences and knowledge in the profession.

Freshman/First-Year Admission

No requirements beyond University admission requirements.
 

Opportunities Upon Graduation

Students with a coaching minor will strengthen their skills and knowledge to be able to assist head coaches and increase their potential for admission to a graduate program in coaching education.

The coaching education minor requires a minimum of 16 hours.
