Environmental Engineering Technology Major (A.A.S.)

Ohio University–Chillicothe offers a two-year program of study leading to an Associate in Applied Science degree with a major in environmental engineering technology. This program prepares its graduates as environmental professionals to work with numerous federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as with private field consulting companies and industry. Graduates will be able to perform environmental field testing and remediation, develop environmental programs, and maintain environmental health and safety control and compliance.

General Requirements: 45–53 hours


Complete 6-10 hours of Tier II electives. Any Tier II course not already required by the EVT program is acceptable, but you are encouraged to select from distribution areas other than Natural Sciences if you intend to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

Minimum Hours Required for Graduation: 96
